HardLink Shell Extension 2.8.0.1

Download

Add the possibility to create Hardlinks directly from the system shell to the Windows contextual menu.

The NTFS file system, present in NT4/W2K/WXP/WXP64 operating systems, has support for the HardLink function, but these HardLinks can only be created via the POSIX ´ln´ command, included in the Windows resouce kit. But even using POSIX commands, HardLinks can only be created via the command line, which is truly tedious for many files.

To solve this small inconvenience you have HardLink Shell Extension. HardLink Shell Extension implements an add-on to the Windows explorer, so that the Hardlinks can be created comfortably, simply clicking on the right mouse button on one or various files you´ve selected (what is usually called the Windows contextual menu).
